OUR STORY

We (Family of 5 / we were with 6) have been working since 2011/2012 to offer part of our house as community center / clubhouse (BBOSSTEAM = Born & Built On Self Success & Self Support) for after school care and activities and neighborhood info point.

We were rolled into the situation by the neighborhood, people came to visit us more and more with all kinds of questions and in particular for help with school work guidance / reports and computer internet / printout capability (we had private 2 computers and 2 laptops).

Our (kids) at the time our eldest son, was excellent student with good grades, became best 6th grader and became 2nd place Mathematical Olympiad August 2016 and Optiek Ninon Children's Spectacles model in 2010.

All this has happened on our own strength and own resources and with the support we received from parents of the kids and some local residents.

And through a good friend we came into contact with a person and his employer / owner of a company, which had a number of computers and rented us some for payment until we could take over.

We are now forced to innovate in 2018, our computers are outdated and broken and the kids ask every day when they are allowed to play again, there are few or no free time activities for them in the neighborhood.

We are active but with 1 to 2 computers on which the kids go around the neighborhood to play games and look up information for their school reports and typing. 

We would like to ask you, as a family and promoters, to support us with financial and material contribution in the form of:

- 4 to 5 computers / laptops,

- 5 play stations 3 or 4 consoles

- and like some games 

  CLUBHOUSE / NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE BBOSSTEAM :

1. YouthCyber ​​Club BBOSSTEAM (BBOSS = Born & Built On Self Success & Self Support) With educational vision (youth club)

 Offers:

- Internet,

- PC games / braintrain games,

- Playstation 2/3 and games (currently not active)

- Playstation 4 and games (currently not active)

- Copy / print out / scan,

- Computer lessons / Computer course safely dealing with social media !!!

- Create homework / school reports, resume application letters, portfolio, payment arrangements, permits, petitions. 

2. Club house / Neighborhood center Info point;

- Building social network, getting to know other neighborhood residents,

- Listening ear to all kinds of private matters,

- Types and assistance with filling in forms, reading letters, Ned and Eng language,

- Financial problems such as debts, payment arrangements, debt collection / bailiff,

- Training or finding work, applying for jobs, training or course opportunities,

- find room or house, find different kind of care, - Find primary school childcare or playgroups - Referral to other agencies /  institutions, professionals etc ..,

- Get brochures and brochures, Post advertisements on bulletin board / internet / social media.

3. Neighborhood relaxation and meeting place: Enjoy, relax, chill, relax, lounge; for children, young people, women, men by sitting and talking and playing board games such as checkers, chess, people do not get annoyed, cards etc .. 

 CLUB HOUSE / CYBER BBOSSTEAM YOUTH EDUCATION CENTER;

The purpose of this center; is occupied with youngsters from Boxel / Domburg and surroundings outside school hours, age from 4 to 24 years, in a low-threshold way.

It is tried in a playful way to learn different skills and to generate interest in developments within contemporary society (contribution to Early Child Development!).

The targeted stimulation and training of;

- own talents and confidence in their own abilities,

- respect for self (self value) and others,

- social skills, cooperation and solidarity This can be achieved by:

- making appointments,

- clear communication

- always motivating and guiding,

- open checking, feedback, feedback. 

The goal-oriented working with for example dropouts through conversations, games and social media and together with their organized club activities, inspire them and stimulate them to take up their studies and / or be productively creative entrepreneurial. Making them aware that they are the future and their contribution is already essential.

And that their share in the society and development of our country and the whole world can be delivered by their confidence in their own abilities and that they can be transformed into tangible successful actions and actions.

There is collaboration with parents / carers, professionals and agencies or foundations / associations and business, who want to contribute to the development of our young people and our country.
